On your Wedding Day, it is recommended that an Emergency Kit containing some of the following items have readily available "just in case".

General Items

1. Bottled water

2. Camera/camcorder

3. New rolls of film

4. Fresh batteries

5. Candy bars

6. Hard candy, or similar treats

7. Cellular phone

8. Credit cards/checks/money

9. Directions to wedding ceremony/reception

10. Gum or mints

11. Pen & paper

12. Phone numbers of all bridal party members

13. Phone numbers of all wedding vendors (ceremony/reception locations, wedding officiant, caterer, photographer, DJ/band, florist, bakery, etc.)

14. Sitting stool for bride (in case her train is too long for a chair)

15. Special reminder note: check on wedding day that a responsible person will have wedding rings & marriage certificate at wedding ceremony

Spare Items

1. Bandaids

2. Deodorant

3. Dusting/talcum powder

4. Electric razor & aftershave lotion for men in Bridal Party

5. Hair spray/brush/barrettes/bobby pins

6. Hand lotion

7. Handi wipes/hand towel

8. Kleenex tissues

9. Toilet paper

10. Makeup bag

11. Masking tape (for ripped hems)

12. Nail polish/glue/remover

13. Perfume

14. Safety/bobbie pins

15. Sewing kit (needle/thread/buttons/etc.)

16. Sunscreen

17. Toothbrush/toothpaste

18. Visine (in case of tears)

Clothing

1. Bow tie/cufflinks/shirt studs/black socks for men in bridal party

2. (extra) Earring backings

3. (extra) Flat shoes/slippers

4. Going away clothes after wedding ceremony/reception

5. Nylons/pantyhose

6. (extra) Throwaway garter

Health/Personal Items

1. Aspirin/tylenol/advil/etc.

2. Antacid

3. Antihistamines

4. Birth control

5. Cold/allergy pills

6. Feminine hygiene products

7. Pepto-bismol

8. Perscriptions/medications

These are just some things that could help you out in a emergency.  Don't feel that you need to go out and buy the whole list.  Some items aren't going to help some will be needed.  

Just remember that this is your day and it should be fun.  Don't try to over plan everything leave it up to the professionals.  Only hire competent people that you trust to take care of your wedding details and leave the details to them.

Your job is to just have fun and enjoy your special day.
